Communications
We design and install the whole communications ecosystem: IP phone system, desk and cordless phones, mobile extensions, video meeting rooms and the network that keeps it all running without drop-outs.
It's almost always the network: no priority for voice, overloaded WiFi or a consumer router.
Without queues, schedules or diversions, calls are lost whenever reception is busy.
A laptop on the table, echo, and nobody can hear the people at the far end of the room.
An old phone system, personal mobiles and a video intercom that don't talk to each other.
Cloud or on-site, with extensions, queues, schedules, voicemail and call recording if needed.
PoE-powered desk phones and DECT cordless handsets for moving around the premises or hotel.
Your office extension in a mobile app or on your computer: make and take calls on the company number from anywhere.
Camera, microphones, speakers and screen sized to the room, compatible with the platforms you already use.
Video intercom and PA announcements integrated with the phone system: open the door from your desk phone.
Voice VLAN, priority (QoS), PoE and UPS, so calls sound clear and keep working during a power cut.
Both work well; the right choice depends on your size and how you work.
| Aspect | Cloud | On-site |
|---|---|---|
| Installation | No server in the office | Dedicated server or appliance on the premises |
| Cost | Recurring fee | Upfront investment and maintenance |
| If the internet goes down | External calls divert to mobiles | Internal calls keep working |
| Multiple sites and remote work | Very simple | Possible, via VPN or secure access |
| Customisation | Whatever the provider allows | Full, including open source options |
We work with Grandstream (UCM phone systems, IP and DECT phones, video conferencing and intercoms) and with open source phone systems such as Asterisk or FreePBX, whichever fits best.
In a hotel, telephony is part of the service: phones in rooms, a front desk handling several calls at once, housekeeping and maintenance reachable on DECT handsets, and automatic wake-up calls or alerts. In a restaurant, bookings mustn't be lost because the dining room is full.
Number of users, sites, call flow, meeting rooms and network condition.
Phone system, handsets, numbering plan, menus and meeting rooms.
Network, handsets and configuration; a planned switchover so no calls are lost.
We train the team and adjust menus and hours as the business changes.

Usually yes. The phone system connects to your operator's lines and the numbers stay the same; we check your current service before planning the switch.
With a UPS on the network and critical equipment, phones keep working during the outage. If the internet drops, incoming calls can divert automatically to mobiles.
Meeting rooms are equipped for the platforms you already use. We can also deploy an open source option such as Jitsi if you'd rather not depend on a provider.
Technically yes. If calls are recorded, callers must be informed and recordings handled in line with data protection law; we recommend checking with your adviser.
