Internet of Things

IoT devices and sensors, properly integrated

Temperature, humidity, CO2, water or energy sensors; connected plugs, relays and valves. We choose the devices, connect them to a secure network and bring them into one platform with useful alerts.

The problem isn't the devices, it's how they fit together

  • One app per gadget

Every brand with its own app, accounts and alerts, and nothing connecting them.

  • Cheap, insecure devices

No updates, default passwords, and sitting on the same network as everything else.

  • Alerts nobody handles

A leak sensor that notifies a phone nobody checks isn't much use.

  • Batteries and links that fail silently

A sensor with a flat battery or no connection looks "fine" until something happens.

What we integrate

Environment

Temperature, humidity, CO2 and air quality, by room or zone.

Water, smoke and frost

Leak and flood, smoke and low-temperature detectors, with a shut-off valve where needed.

Energy

Consumption meters per circuit or device, solar production and metering plugs.

Presence and openings

Motion, occupancy, and door and window sensors.

Actuators

Plugs, relays, valves, thermostats and lighting you can control and automate.

Platform and alerts

Everything on one dashboard, with KNX, Loxone or Home Assistant, and alerts to whoever needs to act.

The right protocol for each job

No protocol is best at everything: we choose based on range, power use and purpose.

ProtocolRange and networkPower useTypical use
WiFiYour existing WiFi networkHighCameras, mains-powered devices, plugs
ZigbeeShort-range meshVery lowSensors and lighting in homes and shops
Z-WaveSub-GHz meshVery lowSensors and actuators, good wall penetration
Thread / MatterLow-power IP meshVery lowDevices compatible across brands
Bluetooth LEShort rangeVery lowLocks, nearby sensors
LoRaWANLong range, kilometresMinimalSpread-out sensors: car parks, tanks, large buildings

Many installations combine several: a gateway translates each protocol to the central platform.

Use cases

Second homes

Leaks, frost, humidity and temperature monitored while nobody is there.

Restaurants

Cold room and fridge temperatures logged, with an alert if they go out of range.

Hotels and apartments

Energy per room, windows open with heating on, bathroom leaks.

Offices and shops

CO2 and ventilation, meeting-room occupancy and out-of-hours consumption.

Security and network first

Every connected device is another door into your network. That's why IoT devices go on a separate network, with up-to-date firmware, unique passwords and no direct access from the internet. Remote access goes through the platform or a VPN.

We favour devices that work locally, so an internet outage or a cloud service shutting down doesn't leave the installation dead.

  • Separate IoT network (VLAN)
  • Local control wherever possible
  • Battery and connectivity monitoring
  • Documentation for every device

How we do it

  1. 1

What you want to know or control

We start from the problem: leaks, energy, temperature, occupancy…

  2. 2

    Devices and protocol

We choose sensors and actuators to suit the space, range and power supply.

  3. 3

    Network and integration

A secure IoT network, gateway and platform with dashboards and automations.

  4. 4

    Alerts and follow-up

We set who receives each alert and review the system as part of maintenance.

Frequently asked questions

Can you integrate devices I already have?

Often yes, if the device supports local integration or has an API. We check case by case; if it isn't reliable, we'll tell you and suggest an alternative.

Does it work if the internet goes down?

With local devices and a local platform, automations keep running. What you lose temporarily is remote access and external alerts, unless there's a 4G/5G backup connection.

Who receives the alerts?

Whoever you decide: the owner, the maintenance manager, reception staff or several people, with different priorities depending on the alert.

Can I start with just a few sensors?

Yes. Most people start with what worries them most, such as leaks or temperature, and expand on the same platform.
